Dr. Kugel began his academic journey at SUNY Oneonta, earning his undergraduate degree in Psychology. He went on to attend New York Medical College, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2023. Since then, he has gained extensive clinical experience across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation, and subacute rehab centers.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kugel has worked with diverse patient populations—from older adults seeking to maintain independence to athletes striving to return to peak performance. His clinical background includes treating musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, allowing him to tailor care to each patient’s unique goals and challenges.

Dr. Kugel’s mission is simple: to blend strong clinical knowledge with a genuine understanding of what matters most to his patients, creating a collaborative and empowering rehabilitation experience.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find him watching sports, spending time with family and friends, or diving into one of his favorite hobbies—building custom computers.
